Year 2, Project 4 - The Theatre of the Absurd

In this project we have been asked to create a response to the Theatre of the absurd. The concept of the style of theatre is based around the idea that our existence is pointless and the message is conveyed through the power of speech.

The plan is to create a series of "propaganda" posters promoting the message that our existence is in fact pointless. On the hand in we will also ( me & fellow class mate Chris ) turn the basic concept of the Theatre of the Absurd into a performance piece.

My thoughts? Well I think they do look rather good ( a little big headed, yes ) however I do believe the type can be "jazzed" up a little to look a bit more "gothic" and so -

Now the new better looking type would need new poster designs to accomandate it's dark beauty and here they are -
