Year2, project 1 - Youth Internet Television

My idea - To better the youth by transforming the 10 Commandments into show concepts. The show will be presented by puppets. The reason being is the only way teenagers will want to digest this rather serious information is if it's presented to them in an visually engaging manor.

Initial idea -

The channel will be called Command-Alt-Repeat. It was made to sound like the computer short cut Control, alt, delete. The computer reference was made due to the online nature of the channel. The actual type was found online. It was used to symbolise the slabs on which the commandments were sent down and the bold structure represents authority and importance.

The fist book (Bible of ideas) was made in a very simplistic and "old fashioned" way. The way it is set out is very "Bible" like. The basic principle was on the left hand page you would the actual commandment and on the right would be my personal explanation of how the commandment would set out to be a show. I made this first book as a reference point. The feed back a got was that look of the bible was "too serious". Even thought the "Bible of ideas" is just a presentation method from that i understood that the branding (logo) of the show was also too serious. So i went back, picked a new font, picked a new style and started again.
